Summary

NetSupport DNA 3.00 has now been released, this major release of the NetSupport DNA Product includes many new features and improvements over the previous version 2.70 release.

The recommended method to update your current NetSupport DNA 2.70 installation to version 3.00 is to update the system using the online update.

This method is only available to customers that have a current software maintenance contract or those customers currently evaluating NetSupport DNA 2.70.

The online update once started will update the NetSupport DNA Server and then will automatically update DNA Clients and consoles when they first connect to the updated DNA Server.

Details

Before updating your installation of NetSupport DNA, we strongly recommend that you create a backup of your current NetSupport DNA database.

Update method using the Online Update

1. Open a DNA Console 
2. Click Help | Check for Updates
3. Clicking Next will display a list of updates available for download
4. Tick "Update DNA from 2.7 to 3.00" in the list of available updates
5. Click the Download button
6. You will now be prompted to register your details for the NetSupport My Support service. Filling in all of the displayed fields and clicking Register Me will register your details. If you already have a My Support logon please click sign in or Already Registered and enter your previously registered email address and password. 
7. Click Start Update to start the download process
8. When the download has completed, select the Install button to deliver the update to your DNA Server (you will be advised that the NetSupport DNA Server may need to be re-started) 
9. Once the Status has changed to Installed please click OK
10. The NetSupport DNA 3 update will now have been applied to your DNA Server and will be applied to all DNA Console and Client machines when they next connect to the DNA Server
